This blog was inspired by many things among which is Matt Haig’s tweet on reaching 42. He writes, “42 is not a scary age. 42 is the average angle at which light strikes a raindrop to produce a rainbow. It’s fine.” I’m not quite there yet in terms of age but the meaning resonates.
This blog is a collection of stories by and for those of us in transition, navigating middle age. Here we collect stories of success and failure, ponder on questions of life and love, and reflect on simply being. It is for us, within or hovering around the 40-65 age range, courageously dealing with life’s curveballs. For us, who are growing more averse to change and yet to whom change has become more inevitable. To us who have survived so much and yet have still a lot to go through. To bring together our collective stories because God knows not many of us have the time to write.
This is a life line, a support group, a safe space.
This is for you, brave one. You are not alone.
